Grant Adlam, CEO of The Top Business Portfolio, decided to move the entire KZN Top Business Portfolio website over to the Unisite Business Suite. The discussions started after Sesalos PTY LTD, creators of the Unisite Business Suite, were nominated as one of KZN’s Top 100 Businesses. After looking at Sesalos in more detail and attending a presentation on the Unisite, Grant Adlam signed up for the entire Business Suite.

The reasons were simple! To have an easy to use content management system was of utmost importance, and the on page management concept made it easy to understand the system quickly.

Further than content management, the Unisite Business Suite offered a complete client database management system that integrated email, SMS and fax communications to all clients and internal staff members. Most of the marketing aspects of The KZN Top Business Portfolio were now taken care of with the Communications systems and the Complete Website Package.

KZN Top Business Portfolio (KZNTBP) are also making use of the Sales Suite which uses the existing Client Database and manages the Sales Process ensuring that clients are never forgotten. The sales process is completed with the Invoicing Suite which ensures a smooth transition between the closing of a sale and the payment/billing process. The great benefit for KZNTBP was that all this software that their business now runs on is available anywhere through and internet connection and a secure online environment. This means that their office is now truly accessible from anywhere in the world.

This trend to move business management online is not a new concept and is being adopted worldwide by many large enterprises. This is mainly due to advances in security online and also with the increase in the speed of the internet through broadband technologies.
