Prism is a very simple programme that makes a desktop program out of your Sesalos Intranet or Content Management System. The Unisite development team has also committed to making sure that Unisite systems are compatible with Prism.

Here is a quick step by step tutorial to setup Prism for Unisite:

Step 1:

Download Prism from this website

Step 2:

Double click on the downloaded file and you should get a window that displays all the folder contents.

Click on the file named “prism.exe”

Step 3:

You will now have the menu shown below.

URL:
In the  URL section type the address of your Unisite Intranet. (If you are unsure of the address please contact your Unisite supplier).

Name:
Type a name for your icon. IE: “Unisite Intranet”

Please make sure that all the tick boxes are selected, like in the example above.

Step 4

Click OK

More Flexible Login Options
The Unisite uses a global login box that is built into the template of each Unisite website. After getting feedback from clients we found that some clients would like to hide the login feature from their clients as it created a bit of confusion.

The login benefits on the Unisite Toolbar mean:

1.    The Unisite Toolbar allows an alternative login that is not visible on the website.
2.    The View and Edit functions of the Unisite are then housed in the Unisite Toolbar
3.    The Unisite Toolbar is never visible to your client.

If you would like the ‘hidden’ login option applied to your website please click the ‘Contact Sesalos’ button on the Unisite Toolbar and write you request in the email that pops up. Sesalos will then apply the new change to your website and send you information on how to use the new login.
